DISRUPTING THE PREVAILING NARRATIVE

"When my son left Alaska to attend prep school, I was nervous because he was thousands of miles away from home. Mr. Benjamin was very reassuring and in time his word proved to be true and gave me a “peace of mind.” He constantly kept us abreast of my son’s academic, and athletic progress as well as his social involvement within the school. The things I love about Mr. Benjamin is his honesty, trustworthiness, and caring spirit about our children’s academic and personal wellbeing. Early on my son showed potential to possibly be an  NBA prospect, with that potential brings many people vying to be your friend. Fast forward 11 years later, Fred is the only coach/educator still in his life checking on him; offering support, and pushing him to be his best!  Mr. Benjamins mentorship has been such a blessing to my son’s life and has attributed to him being a confident, successful and responsible young adult pursuing his dreams."

"Mr. Fred Benjamin was an essential part in orchestrating my son’s recruitment to The Hotchkiss School an exemplary boarding school located in Connecticut. Even though Derrick was attending another high school, Mr. Benjamin continued to mentor and coach him to achieve the straight A’s that was required for admission. While attending The Hotchkiss School he continued to guide Derrick athletically and academically throughout his College career, this is what impressed me the most, watching Mr. Benjamin work twice as hard to make sure Derrick succeeded.
